My name is Roland Fellner. I have many years of experience in the areas of IT infrastructure, DevOps, content management and media technology. Topics such as data protection, security, IoT and AI/ML are omnipresent. I have been self-employed since 2020 and have supported a wide variety of customer projects in an advisory and executive capacity. More details in the project overview.

My career: In 2004, after successfully graduating as a print and media technician and as the best graduate of the year in the field of media technology, I started my employment at Oestreicher & Wagner GmbH, Munich. My initial focus was on defining and implementing various processes for quality/color management, as well as automating them. I covered both internal issues and customer inquiries. The increasing use of IT and tailor-made solutions to optimize processes and the constant authorization of these increasingly shifted my focus to IT. From 2009, my focus was therefore on the planning and technical conception, coordination and implementation of core infrastructure issues as well as the provision and adaptation of content management systems for customers. In 2014, I then took over the management of IT for Oestereicher+Wagner GmbH and efficientM GmbH.

Together with my 8-person team, the task was to set up and operate the company’s own infrastructure for around 150 employees of 5 companies in the organization and to provide many different IT services and databases for existing customers.

In 2016, I finally moved to the software company censhare AG, Munich. My media training, know-how and many years of experience in the IT business as well as my presentation experience were the right framework conditions for the new role as Solution Consultant. My portfolio of tasks included the planning and implementation of standard and customer-specific presentations, onboarding and training workshops for the German and International market (de/en), as well as supporting Sales and Partner management with technical knowledge. Feasibility analyses of the requested use cases as well as qualification and answering RF(x) requests are part of the daily tasks. The product portfolio here included DAM, PIM, CMS and marketing/content processing, planning and provision. I was largely responsible for the conception of presentation workflows and the necessary presentation environments in the cloud infrastructure.

I have been self-employed since September 2020. My client portfolio in the past has ranged from locally based medium-sized companies to large international corporations. I looked after customers from market segments such as medical, furniture, assurance and banking, automotive and marketing.
